After some bugs over the last few weeks, EA Sports has started offering compensation to affected players in FIFA 23 Coins, but a mysterious Fantasy FUT Heroes game is confusing players.

There were a few content bugs during the FIFA 23 Team of the Season (TOTS) campaign, and there have been three bugs since the campaign started a few weeks ago. As usual, the TOTS campaign in FUT started with the launch of the community TOTS team, but a bug caused the team's players and the Eredivisie TOTS to be released earlier.

The same thing happened a few weeks later with the La Liga TOTS, where two days before the official launch, the entire squad was mistakenly included in the pack. However, the biggest mistake was EA's release of the Community TOTS Upgrade SBC, which misrepresented what to expect in the Community TOTS Player Pack.

EA didn't mention that the bundle will also include TOTS Moments, so players who complete the SBC and receive community TOTS Moments items will be compensated. Almost three weeks later, EA finally gave away free community TOTS packs to affected players but also gave away Fantasy FUT Heroes player picks to random players, much to the confusion of the FUT community.

Random Fantasy FUT Heroes player picks will be distributed in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. Previously, players logged into FIFA 23 Ultimate Team and found a free Fantasy FUT Heroes Player Pick waiting for them, allowing them to choose from three Fantasy FUT Heroes heroes. Hundreds of players took to Twitter to submit their Player's Choice but still weren't sure why they received it.

Many accounts on Twitter have speculated that the player selection is compensation from EA after a pack released on the MMOexp FUT Store went wrong a few weeks ago. The Encore Pack was released in the Promotion Packs section of the FUT Store and cost players 185,000 Gold or 1,250 FIFA Points.

Along with a range of other items, the bundle also includes a Fantasy FUT 23 buy Coins Hero Loaner Pick for three players to choose from. However, the description of the pack does not state that the included Fantasy FUT Heroes are on loan.

Because of this, players are being given free Fantasy FUT Heroes player picks, but the players who are receiving them don't seem to be affected. There are many people on Twitter claiming they received player picks without opening the pack and many also claim they opened the pack but didn't receive free player picks.
