Season 1 of Skull and Bones, Raging Tides, has kicked off, adding new quests and NPCs. One of the main new NPCs is William Blackwood, who has season contracts for you and unlocks the Smuggler Pass. William Blackwood can be found in multiple locations and has a few different quests for you.

William Blackwood Locations

William Blackwood can be found in the two major hubs, Sainte-Anne and Telok Penjarah. In Sainte-Anne, he can be found leaning on the statue next to the docks where you can access your ship. In Telok Penjarah, he is located next to the mailbox and warehouse. If you check your local map in these locations, Blackwood's marker is listed as "Smuggler's Network."

Smuggler Pass

The Smuggler Pass is Skull and Bones' equivalent of a battle pass. In order to access the Smugglers Pass, you will need to accept the quest "A Smuggler's Way." This quest doesn't require you to do anything, simply unlocking the pass right away.

The Smuggler Pass features a series of weekly missions, along with season-long missions, with more unlocking through the season. There are three individual sections with 30 tiers each, with special rewards unlocked at 45 and 90 total Skull and Bones items, including the blueprint for a new ship.

Battling La Peste

William Blackwood has two other quests available to start the season, which introduce you to the new enemy faction of plague ships, led by Le Peste. The first mission, titled "The African Aliment" has you track down a plague ship off the Coast of Africa and take it down. Once you return with the quest item obtained for sinking that ship you will get the second quest, "Peste Control."

Peste Control tasks you with obtaining the new faction item, the head of plague ship captains. This item can be looted by sinking plague ships and turned into Blackwood for a reward of Silver.

Blackwood will likely have more quests to offer as the season progresses.
