I've never really played solo however I'm considering creating a character and continuing to play it for a long timeperhaps even the holy the grail farm, if I can start to play. But I'm not entirely sure about two things:

1. Do the ladder changes or 2.4 live on single player or do they just become available after the ladder has ended?

2. When ladders close/come out, is singleplayer updated too as if it's a piece of relic doesn't get touched?

3. I've heard that singleplayer maps don't change, If this is the case, is it due to account or character? (As as for the difficulty?)

4. Any advice regarding the main differences to know about multiplayer and singleplayer?

I haven't been able to test some of the runewords that are new due to the fact that I haven't found them offline yet however, I'm sure they'll work in single player offline, however, I'm not 100% certain about that p2pah d2r ladder items hot.

So far, following the ladder and all that followed offline has received nearly all the latest changes , and the only thing yet to be implemented is the Terror Zones that they have just announced. I'm really hoping that they'll add it in the near future...

Maps don't change with each character unless you change the difficulty mode. Therefore, if you discover an excellent map to farm with any type of character, you could play it over and over however if you select a different difficulty, it will reset. This is how you continue "re-rolling map" until you come across the best maps.

The most significant difference online is trading and PvP. There are also perhaps some future events that are Ladder-only they could be able to add.
