Thaumaturgic Dust is a very versatile resource. It can be used in recombination, upgrading your town, and shipping. In the first two cases, the resource is a hard currency, you have to pay to upgrade your gear or build new ranks of your buildings. The shipping is more interesting though.

In the case of shipping, Thaumaturgic Dust makes your shipment more valuable. It has some obvious perks, such as better rewards but remember that it will be connected to a higher risk. So, calculate carefully.

How much Thaumaturgic Dust should you send with ships though? If you start your adventure with the league, we recommend around 50. It is still not much but will bring a nice profit boost. Later into the game, most players send around 500 – 8000 units of Thaumaturgic Dust (around +150%-200% of original worth). Anything above it is not very economical.
