The Tenets of Depravity is a side quest chain in Diablo 4, taking place in the Nahantu region. This questline is essential for progressing in the Deeds of a Champion quest, which becomes available after the main campaign. While Tenets of Depravity can be tackled at any point, completing it will provide rewards and help unlock new content.

Here's a breakdown of how to complete the quests in the Tenets of Depravity chain.

Tenets of Depravity: Sacrament of the Faithless

Starting the Quest:

Locations: Talk to a Guard in Kurast Bazaar or Kurast Docks.

Regardless of where you begin, both paths lead to the same objectives.

Quest Objectives:

Head to Seven Stones in the Nahantu region to locate Faith's Torch (Burned Knight camp).

Location: South of Kurast Docks, towards the northwest of the search area.

Once there, speak with Priest Dmitriy, who is locked up. After the cutscene, you'll face a Berserk Burned Knight.

After defeating the Berserk Knight, speak to Dmitriy again and collect the Account of Captain Kharvo's Madness.

Next, head to Gea Kul and search for the Cathedral of Light Authority, found in the northern part of the area.

Speak to Prava to complete the quest.

Completion:

The quest will end with the initiation of the next step: Tenets of Depravity: An End to Suffering.

Quest Objectives:

Return to Faith's Torch and inspect the impaled Knight's corpse.

Enter the Knight Command Quarters and defeat the Burning Knights that attack you.

After the battle, speak to Priest Dmitriy to complete this quest.

Completion:

This quest will immediately trigger the next one: Tenets of Depravity: Companion to Madness.

Tenets of Depravity: Companion to Madness

Quest Objectives:

Head south from Faith's Torch to Seared Revelation, another camp of the Burned Knights.

Location: Center of the search area near the circular part of the map.

Once at the camp, speak with Marzhan the Scribe to begin the next phase.

Enter the Blood-Slicked Pit, where enemies will appear. Fight and defeat them.

Return to Marzhan to complete the quest.

Completion:

This will unlock the next quest: Tenets of Depravity: Scion of Blasphemies.

Tenets of Depravity: Scion of Blasphemies

Quest Objectives:

Travel east from Seared Revelation to the Temple of the Profane.

Location: Top left area of the search location.

Speak to Marzhan to begin the next phase of your journey inside the Temple of the Profane Dungeon.

Kill Pharos, take his Condemned Trophy, and use it to open the Temple Gate to proceed into the Chamber of Slaughter.

Defeat the enemies that ambush you, then continue into the dungeon.

Find Grigoriy, defeat him, and take his Condemned Trophy. Use this trophy to open the next Temple Gate.

Fight off another ambush, then continue into the Hall of the Unworthy.

Find Viktor, defeat him, and take his Condemned Trophy. Use this trophy to enter the Vault of the Demigod.

Confront and defeat Kharov inside the Vault.

Completion:

Upon Kharov's defeat, the quest is complete, earning you:

This will also allow you to complete or resume the Deeds of a Champion post-campaign quest.

Completing the Tenets of Depravity questline provides a variety of rewards, including experience,  Diablo 4 gold, Diablo 4 items, crafting materials, and unique Nahantu Renown. Additionally, you'll gain the Faith's Torch title and progress in the Deeds of a Champion quest.
